Composition:

Indofer Tablets:

Each chewable tablet contains Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex equivalent to Elemental Iron 100mg.

Indofer Plus Tablets:

Each chewable tablet contains Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex equivalent to Elemental Iron 100mg & Folic Acid 0.35mg.

Indofer Syrup:

Each 5ml contains Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex equivalent to Elemental lron 50mg.

Description:

Iron is an essential constituent of the body, being necessary for haemoglobinformation and for the oxidative process of living tissues. Iron salts are given for thetreatment or prophylaxis of iron deficiency anaemias. Iron Polymaltose Complex is a novel iron salt that has distinct advantages over conventional iron preparations.

Indications:

Indofer Tablet:

Indofer tablets are indicated for the prevention and treatment of all kinds of iron deficiencies particularly iron deficiency anaemia. Tablet formulation is especially used for the prophylactic therapy of iron deficiency to cover the recommended daily dietary allowances (RDA) during pregnancy and lactation, adolescents and adults.

Indofer Plus Tablet:

Indofer Plus Tablets are used for the treatment of latent and manifest iron deficiency and prevention of iron and folic acid deficiency before and during pregnancy, and during lactation.

Indofer Syrup:

Indofer Syrup is used for the treatment of latent iron deficiency and iron deficiency anaemia (manifest iron deficiency). Prophylactic therapy of iron deficiency during pregnancy.

Storage:

Indofer syrup and tablets store below 30oC and protect from light.

Indofer tablets should be protected from moisture.
