Exlor Susp/Drops

Exlor (Cefaclor) is a broad - spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic for oral use containing cefaclor USP

Composition:

Exlor 125mg oral suspension contains: Cefaclor 125mg/5ml.

Exlor 250mg oral suspension contains: Cefaclor 250mg/5ml.

Exlor 50mg oral drops contains: Cefaclor 50mg/ml.

Indications:
Otitis Media, Lower Respiratory Infections, Upper Respiratory Infection, Skin and Skin Structure Infections, Urinary Tract Infections

Dosage and Administration:

Children: The usual daily dosage for children is 20mg/kg/day in divided doses are administered 3 times daily - In severe infections dose of 40mg/kg/day in divided doses are recommended with a maximum dosage of 1g/day.

B.I.D. Dosage: For the treatment of otitis media and pharyngitis, the total dosage may be divided every 12 hrs. Exlor (Cefaclor) therapeutic dosage should be administered for at least 10 days in case of b-hemolytic streptococcal infections. In response of the impaired renal function Exlor (Cefaclor) may be dministered with no change in usual daily dosage

 Storage:
Store below 25OC and protect from light & moisture.

After reconstitution of oral suspension, store in a refrigerator,

Keep tightly closed and shake well before using.

• Exlor 125mg/5ml oral suspension 60ml (after reconstitution)

• Exlor 250mg/5ml oral suspension 60ml (after reconstitution)

• Exlor 50mg/ml oral drops 15ml (after reconstitution).
